Experiential Learning Programme overview

Candid Accountants has served as a host employer of Waterberg TVET College since 2017. The programme supports eligible learners who require structured workplace exposure as part of their studies.

Learners are introduced to the day-to-day environment of a professional accounting and tax practice. Subject to the approved placement plan, academic requirements, supervision and confidentiality restrictions, workplace exposure may include bookkeeping support, document administration, payroll processes, tax and statutory-compliance administration, client-service workflows, professional communication and digital practice systems.

Who may apply

Students who require experiential learning or workplace-based experience for their studies and can provide the applicable institutional and academic documents.

How applications are assessed

Applications and supporting documents are reviewed by authorised reviewers. Submitting an application does not guarantee placement or activate learner access.

Application process

  1. Complete the application form with accurate personal, academic and placement information.
  2. Upload the required supporting documents in the accepted file formats.
  3. Candid Accountants reviews the application and may request additional relevant information.
  4. A placement and learner access proceed only after review and approval.

Documents to prepare

For initial assessment, attach your CV, academic results or qualification evidence, and college referral or placement letter. Identity-document copies are requested separately after placement approval if required.

Submission of an application does not guarantee placement. Learner access is activated only after review and approval.

Candid Accountants collects your identity, contact and academic information and supporting documents to assess your suitability for experiential learning, communicate about this application and meet lawful placement-related requirements. The application is for assessment by the firm's authorised application reviewers.

Fields and uploads marked * are required by this application; other fields and documents are optional. Provide only information relevant to the application. Do not include passwords, PINs or unrelated financial records.

Initial assessment: Please provide your contact and academic information. Residential details, emergency contacts and an identity-document copy are collected separately if required after placement approval. Do not attach these records to the initial application.
